It’s that time of the year again, where we buckle down and hit the books hard.  Studying is hard, but it is harder to study on an empty stomach. So take a break when the late-night hunger pangs hit, grab your gang and head down to one of the 5 places listed here (or go on a supper-hop to all 5, we won’t judge.)

1. Fong Seng Nasi Lemak

Situated just a short walk away from Eusoff Hall, Fong Seng is a convenient supper joint for some decent nasi lemak. Whether it’s chicken wing,s stir-fried bean sprouts, hash browns or fish luncheon meat, pile on the side dishes if you are feeling ravenous, and you are good for the night!

Address: 22 Clementi Rd, Singapore 129751

Opening hours:  24 hours, Mondays – Saturdays.

Closed on Sunday.

2. Niqqi’s Cheese Prata Shop

I don’t know about you, but prata is hands-down one of the best supper foods in Singapore.  And what’s better than plain prata? The ones with melty cheese inside, of course. The cheese pratas here have  slightly crispy edges with stretchy and soft centres. Their curry packs a good punch too!

Location: 18 Clementi Rd, Singapore 129747

Opening Hours: 24 hours, daily

3. Al Amaan Restaurant

From fluffy naans to spicy mee goreng, Al Amaan has everything that you could possibly want at midnight. Their maggi goreng is delish and a must-try! Wash it all down with some sweet teh-tehrik while you’re there to give you enough energy to burn the midnight oil.

Address: 12 Clementi Road, S129742

Opening hours: 11AM– 3AM, daily

4. Fei Fei Wanton Mee

Warm and comforting, this traditional wanton mee is like the local version of chicken soup for the soul.  People rave about their springy noodles and chicken feet coated in a special sauce, so be sure to try some the next time you’re craving for some good old wanton mee.

Address: 18 Clementi Road, Singapore 129747

Opening Hours: 24 hours, Daily

5. SuperSnacks

If you are not down for a full meal, head over to SuperSnacks located at Prince Geroge’s Park Residences for a quick nibble. Their classic ol’ school waffles are a favourite amongst the students. Order some crispy nuggets or spicy fries if you prefer something savoury. They also serve salads, for you calorie counters!

Address: 29 Prince George’s Park, Singapore 118426

Opening Hours : Mon – Fri ,  12PM – 1AM

Sat – Sun, 6PM – 1AM

Calories don’t count during this time, so make sure you have enough fuel to last you through the night of hard-core mugging!
